Baker's Dream Festive Sprinkle Bread

Soft, fluffy, and packed with festive sprinkles - basically holiday vibes in bread form.


Ingredients:

Bread:

  • 3 Eggs

  • 1 tsp Baking Powder

  • ¼ tsp Baking Soda

  • 1 tsp Salt

  • ½ tsp Cinnamon

  • ½ Cup Sour Cream

  • ½ Cup Unsalted Butter, softened

  • 340g Chocolate, chopped

  • ½ tsp Oil

  • ¼ Cup Milk

  • 2 tsp Vanilla Extract

  • 1 Cup Sugar

  • 1 ¾ Cups Baker's Dream Cake Wheat Flour

  • ⅔ Cup Sprinkles


Icing:

  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract

  • 2 Tbsp Whipping Cream

  • 1 ¼ Cups Powdered Sugar


Method:

  1. Preheat your oven to 180ºC and line a loaf pan with baking paper.

  2. In a large bowl, whisk butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.

  3. Add the eggs and vanilla extract and mix until well combined.

  4. Stir in the sour cream and milk until combined.

  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together Baker's Dream Cake Wheat Flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon and the salt.

  6. Fold in the dry ingredients into wet mixture. Gently fold in the sprinkles.

  7. Pour the batter into loaf pan and bake for 1 hour, or until a skewer comes out clean.

  8. Let cool completely.

  9. Whilst cooling, whisk together the whipping cream, vanilla extract and sugar to make the icing.

  10. Spread the icing over the cooled loaf and decorate with sprinkles. Enjoy!
