No Knead Bread

Baker's Dream No Knead Bread

This no-knead bread is so easy to make at home. Just mix the ingredients, let it rest, then bake.


Ingredients:

  • 3 Cups Baker's Dream Flour

  • 1 tsp Salt

  • 2 tsp Instant Yeast

  • 1 ½ Cups Warm Water

  • 1 ½ Tbsp Flour, for dusting


Method:

  1. In a large bowl, mix together flour, yeast and salt.

  2. Add water and mix until combined. The dough should be wet and sloppy, not kneadable.

  3. Cover with cling wrap and leave for 2 - 3 hours until double in size. The dough should be wobbly.

  4. Place an oven-safe pot with the lid on in the oven. Preheat the oven to 230ºC for 30 minutes.

  5. Sprinkle the counter with flour and place dough on top, sprinkle some more flour on top.

  6. Using a spatula, fold the sides inwards to form a round shape (about 6 folds). Slide a large piece of baking paper next to the dough and flip the dough upside down onto the paper. Slide the dough to the middle and reshape into a roundish shape.

  7. Remove the oven-safe pot from the oven, and use paper to place the dough into the pot. Place the lid on.

  8. Bake for 30 minutes covered, and then uncovered for 12 minutes or until golden and crispy.

  9. Let cool for 10 minutes on a cooling rack before slicing.
