Baked Amasi Custard Pudding


South African Baked Amasi-ng Custard Pudding!


Ingredients:

  • 100g Butter

  • 170g Caster Sugar

  • 3 Eggs

  • 2 tsp Vanilla Essence

  • 210g Baker's Dream All-Purpose Flour

  • 1/4 tsp Salt

  • 2L Amasi (fermented milk)

Method:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.

  2. Cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.

  3. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.

  4. Stir in the vanilla essence.

  5. Sift the Baker's Dream All-Purpose Flour and salt together, then fold into the mixture.

  6. Add amasi and mix until well combined.

  7. Pour the batter into a greased baking dish.

  8. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until set and golden brown.

  9. Serve warm and enjoy!
