Classic Blondies

These soft bars are packed with rich caramel flavour and can be baked with chocolate chips, nuts, or even white chocolate.
Ingredients:
170g Margarine, melted
1 ½ cup Brown Sugar
1 Egg + 1 Egg Yolk
2 tsp Vanilla Extract
½ tsp Salt
¼ tsp Baking Powder
1 ½ cups Baker's Dream Cake Wheat Flour
1 ¾ cups Chocolate Chips, or mix-ins
Method:
Preheat the oven to 180°C and line a 20×20 cm pan with baking paper.
Whisk together melted margarine and brown sugar.
Stir in the egg, egg yolk, and vanilla extract.
Add the salt, baking powder and flour, and whisk together.
Fold in most of the chocolate chips or mix-ins.
Spread the batter into the pan and add remaining chocolate chips on top.
Bake for 30 min until the edges are set.
Let them cool down before cutting.
