Baker's Dream Potato Wedges

Crispy Potato Wedges – Made at Home!


Ingredients:

  • 4 Medium Potatoes, washed

  • 3 Tbsp Vegetable Oil

  • 2 Tbsp Parsley or Rosemary, finely chopped

  • Salt and Pepper, to taste


Method:

  1. Preheat the oven to 200ºC and line a large baking tray with baking paper.

  2. Slice each potato in half lengthways, then cut each half again lengthways to create quarters.

  3. Place the sliced potatoes in a large bowl and cover them with hot water. Let them soak for 10 minutes.

  4. Drain the potatoes and pat them dry with a paper towel.

  5. Arrange the wedges on the tray and drizzle with oil.

  6. Sprinkle with salt and pepper, then toss until evenly coated. Position them with one of the cut sides facing down, ensuring the skin side is not touching the tray.

  7. Bake for 30 minutes, then carefully flip the wedges over.

  8. Return to the oven and bake for another 25-30 minutes, or until golden and crispy (you should be able to easily pierce through with a fork).

  9. Remove from oven and sprinkle with parsley or rosemary. Enjoy!
